No consumer security app should be this difficult to sign up for. If this sounds overwhelming, that's because it is-and the design of TorGuard VPN's website doesn't help. Other features like apps, browser extensions, VPN protocols, and access to the Shadowsocks proxy, are also available across all three. All three grant access to all of TorGuard's servers and place no restrictions on speed or bandwidth. The Anonymous VPN Package has three plans: Anonymous VPN, Anonymous VPN Pro, and a new option called Anonymous VPN Premium. There are three packages, with different plans in each: Anonymous VPN, Anonymous VPN+Streaming Bundle, VPN+Private Mail Bundles, and Secure Business VPN. TorGuard is unusual among VPN companies in that it embraces a flexible but highly arcane pricing model. We focus on the VPN offerings for this review, but even there it gets complicated. If you are looking for that Tor, you should be using the Tor Browser. TorGuard styles itself as a one-stop privacy shop offering an anonymous proxy (included with the VPN, naturally), PrivateMail secure email, and routers preconfigured to work with TorGuard VPN. How Much Does TorGuard Cost?ĭespite its name, TorGuard is not related to the Tor Project, the digital labyrinth of proxies designed to help people stay anonymous online. However, TorGuard lacks the additional privacy features offered by competitors, while its flexibility sometimes comes at the price of clarity and transparency. ![]() Rather, it provides a robust network of servers, numerous advanced network options, and a bewildering variety of account options that let you tailor your experience just so. TorGuard VPN, however, has never been just a basic VPN service. Their support is the same.A VPN's most basic function is to protect your data and privacy by routing your web traffic through an encrypted connection to a distant server. Nord VPN being another service I have I agree their support is good too.Īs for PureVPN it's rubbish and wouldn't touch it. The good news with torguard is they always have their half price deal so can always leave and come back, I do have subs with other companies as well as I'm finding the best one for me but overall torguard is actually pretty good. Over all been happy with torguard and no real complaints with the service and the cons haven't been enough for me to go it's rubbish but different people different views. Could be based on different factors like my speed etc. Not the fastest out there for torrents or streaming but not the worse. They hardy at new servers - this could also be my issue as I don't watch their announcements etc.you pay extra for a streaming IP 'Netflix' IP and only get one location whilst others are now offering this and more with-in their service and more locations at no extra cost.* They do nothing to set themselves apart from other VPNS out there - Though to me the market is now stale, There is really nothing new or exciting other than wireguard. Only other cons I have with torguard which aren't really that bad Only company I've seen people get 'banned' from forms etc was AirVPN. The only gripe I had was their '24.7 live chat' wasn't actually live when I tried to use it twice and was sent to email - maybe I caught them at a bad time or something, not the end of the world. Whilst support always seem to down talk / extract information from you when you want to upgrade/enquiry about something, least in my questions, they have been nothing short of great for myself and actually answered my questions and also give me what I wanted. ![]() So what issue is it your actually having? This is my personal experience and opinion dealing with them, I know for a fact I'm not the only one with these issues so make sure you do the appropriate research before deciding. I do not recommend using Torguard, If you have the extra money I would pay it and deal with a good company. Update: I have received a full refund, PayPal has decided that I'm correct and thankfully I'm done dealing with this unprofessional business. Disgusting way of business and they don't deserve to be a legit company. ![]() Torguard is literally trash, they don't care about customers, if you disagree with them they will ban you from their website. Nord will actually fix your issues and the chat experience wont make you hate people either. If I were you I would spend the extra money (unless you literally don't have it) and upgrade to Nord/Pure. The only thing they have is their price and even then whats the point of paying less money if your not getting what you paid for? Horrible experience with their support, management and product. This company is literally my least favorite on the list of VPN providers.
